Dion McInnis
Quite simply, God allows me to draw breath to use my God-given abilities to empower and inspire others to use their God-given abilities to find the courage, strength, joy, happiness and success they desire because of the lives they’ve lived, not despite them. I’ve spent a career in the realm of fundraising, and I’ve spent my lifetime empowering others as friend, father, leader, manager, fundraiser, photographer, lay minister, instructor, author and more. I believe we were created in the image of a creator, ergo, we are called to create in each moment of our lives. I believe in you and all the “you’s” on your team, in your organization and … well, everyone.
I have been a photographer since 6, a writer since 12 and poet since birth. I carried those skills and sensibilities through my career phases … empowering teams, inspiring philanthropists, engaging collaborators and partners … to raise millions of dollars, engage thousands of members, organize hundreds of volunteers and oversee scores of events, all of them … one friend at a time.
I have made a life and livelihood from seeing differently, changing perspectives and growing authentically because of the wisdom, insights and inspirations found in my LIFElines. I don’t just write about LIFElines … I have lived them and shared the lessons with others.
I am a listener. An enabler. An empowerment junkie. A teacher, instructor, guide, coach and mentor. I want you to succeed … wildly … while having joy for your calling, your life and for living. I want your team members and customers to consider it a blessing each day that they do business with you, support you, work with you, join you.
Only connect! That was the whole of her sermon.
Only connect the prose and the passion, and both will be exalted,
And human love will be seen at its height.
Live in fragments no longer.
