I've viewed life through a lens since I was six. I didn't realize it in the early years, but looking back, I see it to be true. The portfolios presented here represent various themes that I pursue, or that pursue my attention.

My Czech Experience
09/19/2010 10:01 PM
For my first trip out of the United States, I went to the Czech Republic to teach photography at Artcamp2010, thanks to the efforts of Professor Sandria Hu at University of Houston-Clear Lake. The first 11 images are of my students, who are talented, insightful people from Czech Republic, Ukraine and Slovakia. The rest of the images comprise merely a glimpse of what I saw in Plzen and Prague.

Veterans Day 2010
11/12/2010 05:45 PM
Each year, University of Houston-Clear Lake hosts a Veterans Day event, rain or shine. I am proud to say that it is my office that organizes it; a great team surrounded by university staff and volunteers bring this to the community. No elected officials at the microphone, but there is an open mic for others. One attendee spoke this year, saying "This is the most patriotic event I have been at since graduating from Texas A&M 50 years ago."
