It seems to me that we have lost the art of listening to other people, and appreciating that everyone has many stories to tell that can enrich our own lives. This is especially true in the high-tech healthcare field, where caregivers are so rushed to move patients and families through our complex systems. I just wanted to thank you once more for the excellent presentation you gave to the Bay Area Photo Club. I have heard a lot of club members in the last week and a half comment on how valuable the presentation was to them. As I was listening to you speak, images flashed through my head of places I have seen but not really "seen." By revisiting them in my mind and recalling the things I heard while I was there, I saw new photographs form as if by magic. There was a flood of these images running through my mind throughout your whole presentation.
